Structural Steel Fabrication of Stator Support Assembly Ring

A client from the aviation industry came to JB Tool, Die & Engineering, Inc. for manufacture of a stator support assembly ring. Our production process included machining, turning, and welding to create this specialty fixture that consisted of a concentric outer ring with an inner ring that was within .005″.

Designed to assist in the delicate assembly process of jet engine components, this stator ring was made from A36 carbon steel and Delrin. The material had a thickness of 1-7/8″. Once assembled, the stator ring had a diameter that measured 30″, with tolerances within .0022″.
