EDM

ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MILLING

EDM is a yet another way of machining objects. More than the equipment that performs the intricate etches of EDM, the real beauty of the EDM process requires experience. JB Tool has many years of EDM knowledge and experience. Both conventional and wire EDM processes are available for our customers requirements. We are ready to meet your needs.

 ENGRAVING EQUIPMENT

One of the essential items for an EDM operation is the ability to perform the work on time and within the customers requirements. The EDM process itself uses in some cases a consumable electrode. In some shops, this requires a time delay to reacquire patterns, the carbon or copper substrate material for another electrode. In the majority of our EDM processing, we design and build our own electrodes.  To do this “end to end” task, requires the skill and equipment of an engraver. We have both.
